Traditional Crafts

Jazzfest has areas set aside for traditional crafts (the full name of the event is the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival). I spent a little time looking at some of these (usually when I wasn't interested in the artist playing in Economy Hall).

These handcrafted brooms are by Jerry Lovenstein of Grassy Creek in Mountain View, Arkansas.





These handmade guitars and banjos are by Paul "Junior" Ortiz of Plaquemine in Iberville Parish, Louisiana.
