I don't think this damage was caused by Katrina. The building is a couple of blocks from Tulane University - I think it may have been a frat house. Note the campaign poster stuck into the windshield of the wrecked car. College humor. . .
A shop in the French Quarter.
This is Louisiana Loom Works, a small business in the French Quarter that makes rag rugs. It's a small shop, and the loom takes up about a quarter of their floor space. They have four cats, but only two of them were out where I could take pictures of them.
