Answer to Trivia Question 1

David Seville's real name was Ross Bagdasarian. In 1951, he co-wrote Come On-A My House with William Saroyan, his uncle (you read that right!). Rosemary Clooney recorded it, and it became a number one hit. She is the aunt of George Clooney, who plays Doctor Ross on E.R. Rosemary Clooney has appeared in a couple of episodes as a former professional singer with Altzheimer's disease.

Bagdasarian tried for years to write another hit song, but it was only when he found the gimmick of speeding up his voice with a tape recorder that he found success.

Thanks to Wayne Wong for the info about William Saroyan, and also for the fact that George Clooney is Rosemary Clooney's nephew (I previously had him as her son).
